Additional Drivers

All drivers must meet minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply. Additional driver fee: $10.00 CAD per day

Coverages

Your personal auto policy may cover damage to the rented vehicle. Check with your insurer if you are uncertain. Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third party or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle.

At this Location, you must provide proof of Collision, bodily injury and property liability Insurance that extends to rental vehicles at the time of rental. Proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number. US Citizens must bring in Canadian Non Resident Liability Card as proof of insurance. We require written proof in English of liability insurance covering injury to third party or their property, Collision and comprehensive insurance covering the rented vehicle while on rent.

The renter must provide proof in the form of an insurance declaration page, specifically stating comprehensive and collision coverage is effective and enforced for the duration of the rental agreement (this also applies to the coverage that may be provided through credit card companies and third party companies that will be used at the time of rental). An insurance declaration page is the document that defines your coverage and limits. Insurance cards WILL NOT satisfy the requirement to provide an insurance declaration page for self-insurance. This rule applies to all policies, including collision coverage purchased from any online booking sources. We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present the required proof of insurance coverage.

If renter chooses to self insure and use/transfer their personal auto insurance to the rental car, an Insurance transfer fee ITF of $4.99 /day will be charged.

We offer Collision Damage Waiver for $29.95 CAD per day. This coverage has a deductible of $1250.00 CAD. Glass & Tire Protection is offered for $9.95 CAD per day with a deductible of $100.00 CAD. If you purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive a portion of our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. There are exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver including comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail or acts of God. If you purchase Glass & Tire Protection we will waive a portion of our right to collect from you for comprehensive damages. Please read the back of the Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

Some credit cards may provide you the benefit of collision damage waiver or you may purchase collision coverage online. Credit cards & online coverage do not provide comprehensive coverage which is required on rental vehicles. Credit card or online coverage only cover collision damage waiver. A surcharge of $11.95 per day will be applied to all credit cards or online purchased coverage.

Cross-border Restrictions

If traveling outside of the Province, free kilometers are restricted to 200 free per day, 1,400 per week with a maximum of 3,000 free kilometers on any rental. Access kilometers are charged at 0.30 cents CAD for each additional kilometer driven during your rental. BORDER CROSSING: Vehicles entering the USA are subject to a border crossing fee of $12.95 CAD per day and kilometers are limited to 200 KM per day, 1400 KM per week with a maximum of 3,000 free kilometers on any rental and .20 cents CAD for each additional kilometer.

Financial Policy

The reservation is held for 2 hours after the reserved time. Please contact location directly for any flight delays. If location is informed of any delays vehicle will be held as per the availability.

Grace Period: Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The customer receives a 59-minute grace period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, the extra day rate will apply from minute one.

Local Traveller Restrictions

Unlimited kilometers do not apply for local rentals. Ontario residents receive 200 kilometers per day, 1400 kilometers per week. Rentals exceeding 2 weeks or beyond will have only maximum of 3000 free kilometers. The excess mileage will be charged at 0.20 cents per kilometer. Local renters MUST have proof of their personal auto insurance in order to decline coverage. Collision damage waiver purchased online for Ontario & Quebec residents is not accepted. Some credit card CDW benefits may not be accepted at this location

• The following rules and restrictions are provided by the car rental company.
• The driver must present a valid drivers licence, credit card & a third piece of government issued photo identification in their name upon pick-up. The credit card is required as a deposit when renting any vehicle. A minimum of $1000.00 CAD deposit is held by the car rental company. Please ensure sufficient funds are available on the card.
• International rentals may have different driver licence requirements. An international driving licence is required if the driver's licence is non-roman alphabet.
• Additional charges or restrictions apply for drivers under 25.
• Charges for refueling, additional drivers, etc. are not included in the total price.
• Special equipment, such as child seats and GPS, can be purchased upon pick-up (if available).
• Geographical restrictions may apply, even for rental contracts that feature unlimited mileage. Some car rental companies do not allow you to take their vehicles across certain domestic or international borders, or may apply an additional charge to do so.
• For residents of Quebec, prices include a contribution to the Indemnity Fund of C$1.00 per C$1,000 of travel services purchased.
• Your rental may have mandatory, local insurance requirements that result in additional charges at the time of hiring.
• The total price includes all mandatory taxes and fees.
• Unless and otherwise specified, rates are quoted in Canadian dollars.

From Terminal 3: Take the elevator at door D to level 3. Take the link train to Viscount Station and proceed to the ground level.
